It was a pleasure working again with the good fellows with Between the Trees on a shoot at Big Talbot Island State Park for their upcoming cd. We shot all morning, carrying a ton of gear down the shoreline and nearly getting trapped by the incoming tide. Much thanks to Jeremy Beasley at Midnight Morning, Inc. for his artistic direction. BTT’s new cd “Spain” with album art designed by Jeremy, including several photos from the shoot, is in stores now.

With the world of newspaper journalism in it’s death throes, this was a bright spot today. One of my illustrations was awarded 2nd place in the Best of Photojournalism 2009 contest.

The models are my own Mom and Pop. Despite the image, they are happily married.

I had a recent shoot with the North Florida-based band Don’t Sigh Daisy before their trip to NYC to rock out some label reps on their way to stardom. Thanks to Jeremy Beasley Midnight Morning, Inc., for setting it all up.

With the awesome design talents and hookups of Jeremy Beasley at Midnight Morning, Inc., I have a series of images in the upcoming release of House of Heroes‘ new album “The End is Not the End.” They’ve been in my select playlist for weeks now…great band!

‘Hitching at the Crossroads’ is finally published. It’s an glimpse at hitchhikers passing through Baldwin, FL, during the summer of 2008.
Check out some pics and sound here.

Yes, indeed. I shot Mickey D himself…well, one of them, and with his Magic Fun Mobile, too. It was a surreal experience, like meeting the Easter Bunny on his day off or something.

After a marathon 13-hour shoot with Between the Trees in the unforgiving heat of a Florida summer, I have a selection of edited images. Special thanks to Jeremy Beasley at Midnight Morning, Inc., who was as sunburned as I was, and to Shane for the use of his El Camino even though it broke down.
