The White House Boys
Posted on: April 14th, 2009It’s been a long few months and many, many hours editing video for this project about the Florida Industrial School for Boys in Marianna, FL, where hundreds of men say they were tortured as children and teens in the 1940s-60s.
I worked closely with Florida Times-Union reporter Jim Schoettler, who has the best news sense of anyone I’ve ever known. His stories on this project are viewable here.
Below is a series of three videos touching on what happened at the school through the voices of the people who lived it — both inmates and employees.
